Pursuant to article 13, Lgs. Decree 196/2003, for the protection of personal data, Giulio Veronesi S.r.l., in the capacity as “Data Controller”, hereby informs the user that their personal data, as provided and acquired at the same time as:

a) the sending of a curriculum vitae through the job recruiting service on the Website;

b) the request for information concerning the services offered by the business;

c) the registration needed to make purchases online from the relevant section of the Website;

d) while browsing the Website through the so-called system "log"; will be processed for the following purposes:

1) purposes strictly connected to and/or necessary to meet with the requests of the website user, on a case-by-case basis, via the Website, email or other means of communication;

2) purpose connected to the obligation envisaged by law, EU regulations and dispositions issued by authorities entitled to do so by law or by supervisory bodies;

3) purposes concerning the activities performed by Giulio Veronesi S.r.l. or other connected companies such as, for example but not limited to: survey concerning customer satisfaction with the quality of the service and activities performed, carried out directly or via specialised companies, by means of personal or telephone interviews, questionnaires, etc., sending of newsletters and promotional material on the subject of services provided by Giulio Veronesi S.r.l. and/or connected companies; market research; economic and statistical analyses.

Regarding the purposes stated previously, personal data is processed through manual, computerised or remote means, with logic strictly related to the purposes in question and in any case, so as to guarantee the safety and confidentiality of said data.

Processing can be carried out on behalf of Giulio Veronesi S.r.l., with the same methods and criteria mentioned above, by third parties providing data processing services or complementary activities or activities necessary for the performance of services and the operations required by the user. Moreover, should it be necessary for the purpose of meeting user requirements, the data of same may be made known to employees of Giulio Veronesi S.r.l., to other departments in the firm or to other companies, including outside Italy.

Data will be stored inside the EU, on servers owned by Giulio Veronesi S.r.l. With reference to the above aims, Giulio Veronesi S.r.l. informs the user that the provision of data is optional for processes concerning the activities of the company, while it is obligatory for the aims as per sub 1) and 2) with the result that in this latter hypothesis, any refusal to grant data may make it impossible for Giulio Veronesi S.r.l. to meet the user’s requests. In consideration of the above and with reference to the processing as per number 3) above, Giulio Veronesi S.r.l. will request the user, on a case-by-case basis and using the templates on the Website, to consent to processing.

Giulio Veronesi S.r.l. also informs you that Article 7, Lgs. Decree 196/2003, provides users who grant their own personal data specific rights. In particular, users may obtain from the data controller or supervisor, confirmation of the existence of their personal data and to have said data made available to them in an intelligible form. The data subject may also ask to know the origin of said data as well as the logic and purposes of processing, have the data deleted, anonymised or blocked, if unlawfully processed, as well as updated, corrected or, if necessary, integrated; they may also oppose the processing of data on legitimate grounds.
